The piano of Bertoldi Hall, from DS Johnston out of Tacoma, WA, has been in service for over one hundred years. Here in the building where we operate Deodata Design, the piano has borne witness to many community groups and events over the decades.
In honor of its service, we have repurposed its ivories in tribute to these scenes. From the Women of Woodcraft and Oddfellows Hall, to a boxing gym, and now a pizza joint and Side Rail artists' collective, the pictograms within capture this important history of Georgetown.
